ART'IN LIMA 2024 OPENS TO THE PUBLIC

Next Saturday, June 29th, the Art'In Lima Contemporary Art Exhibition opens its doors, dedicated to the theme The Art of Music. The opening ceremony will take place in the Chapel of Pereiras, at 6:00 pm, a space this year entirely dedicated to the guest artist, Carmen Touza, a renowned Galician painter who brings to Ponte de Lima more than twenty works.

The Museum of Terceiros, the Center for the Interpretation and Promotion of The Vinho Verde and the Tower of the Old Prison are other historic buildings in Ponte de Lima that will host the exhibition and are also included in the opening circuit. Until 29 September, 140 works representing around 87 artists, national and international, will be open to the public, exhibiting their work in fields as diverse as painting, drawing, photography, video, sculpture and art installation.

With this important group exhibition, the Municipality of Ponte de Lima remains focused on making Ponte de Lima an important meeting point for contemporary art, transforming the historic center of the Oldest Village in Portugal into a space for artists and works that are the testimony of the most varied artistic trends of today.
