ART'IN LIMA 2022 | THE NATURAL ELEMENTS

The International Contemporary Art Exhibition Art'In Lima launches the third edition under the theme The Natural Elements.

Nature is balance and chaos. Everything flows in an ever-changing cycle. Natural Elements flow in cycles of life and death. 

Earth represents substance, body, home, stability, abundance, prosperity. The Blue Planet, the home of humanity and all the living beings, the soil from which we gather food for our body, the hand that shapes the course of rivers, the sculptor who carves the dry land and the desert dunes… 

Water symbolizes life, emotions, peace. The dew drops on a spider’s web, the snowplakes of stunning beauty, the serpentine rivers drawn with a brush, the waves on the beach, the snow-covered peaks, the endless white of the glaciers, the blue of the crystal clear waters… 

Air is breathing – inhale, exhale. The invisible element, which takes shape from the movement of those it touches. The sea breeze, the breath, the whisper, the hurricane, the freshness of a late afternoon in summer, the melody of the leaves dancing, the whistle of the north wind… 

Fire personifies heat, light, energy, love, seduction, courage. The vibrant and mesmerizing colours of the dancing flames, the destructive power of the fires, the palette of grays in the fireplace soot, the blue mysticism of the will-o’-the-wisps… 

Art is nourished by contemplation, by the feeling, the emotion that surrounds us and feeds our body and soul.
